Overview:

The function of the Sales Representative is to establish a business relationship with a consumer, customer, client, or business in which designated products have been established to be sold. The nature of the Sales Representation is to exercise customer service, relationship nurturing, and business development principles in order to acquire and retain a customer base.

 


How You'll Make A Difference:

  • Active Selling – the active pursuit of converting the sale of tickets, food & beverage, merchandise, or miscellaneous products with a consumer, customer, client, or business.
  • Marketing/Lead Generation – the practice of exercising various advertising tactics to raise awareness, solicit/increase interest from targeted consumer base such that it provokes or creates an opportunity for a sales exchange to occur. Demonstrate proficiency in sales data analysis, including possessing the wherewithal to maneuver through sales data (historical, present, and prospective) in-possession and in-market in way that yields beneficial intelligence for decisions to be executed. Frequently, this analysis leverages opportunity for sales conversion outcomes to be optimized.
  • Customer Relationship Management – the act of utilizing various methods of communication to acquire or retain a favorable relationship with a customer. This includes fostering and nurturing appropriate dialogue, timeliness in responses, and maintenance of the customer’s history within the CRM platform. The preferred outcome is that the customer develops trust, confidence, and ultimately preference of sales continuity with our company.
  • Business Solutions/Platform – this task focuses on the Sales Representative accessing and navigating various systems and platforms within the Sales and Marketing arena in effort to support sales performance. Including, but not limited to developing a knowledgebase for navigating and operating the POS/Ticketing platform to enter orders, collect and apply payments. Subsequent knowledge in areas of email, social media, and sales presentation solutions will also support business success.  
  • Administration Tasks – this task outlines various administration functions required of the positing, including producing/reviewing reports, verifying statements, emailing, answer phones, and more. These tasks assist the day-to-day operation within the department and individual objectives. Wherewithal in the space of sales agreements, proposals, and contracting with clients will be necessary skills to support performance.
  • Event Execution – this function is the process in which the Sales Representative hosts or assists in hosting the event sold to the consumer, customer, client, or business. This includes, but is not limited to, meeting the customer in the park, coordinating the various departments that may have a role in the event, ensuring quality and service standards are met, and fielding any unexpected occurrences that may arise.

We're Looking For:

Qualifications:

  • Sound experience with Microsoft Office & Office 365, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook, 10-key proficiency, basic knowledge of CRM platforms, and presentation development, production, and delivery.
  • Point of Sales experience (especially ticketing platforms), digital marketing experience, Adobe products, or any creative design applications (WordPress, etc.)
  • Bachelors Degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or finance preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, picking, pinching, typing, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motion of the hands, wrists and/or fingers.
  • Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
  • Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.
  • The worker is exposed to direct/indirect sun and head for extended periods of time.
  • Subject to extreme heat. Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity.
  • Subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside.
