Location: REMOTE
Description: The Judge Group is looking for HCC Coders for one of our biggest clients in the country to work COMPLETELY REMOTE!

Type: Contract

Training Hours: Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM CST

Normal Work Hours: Can be flexible hours - must work 8 hour shift Monday through Friday (can start earlier or end later)

Compensation: Competitive!

Qualifications/Experience:

• Must have 3+ years HCC coding experience.
• Minimum required certification of 2 years through AAPC or AHIMA.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of a coding certificate program from the AAPC or AHIMA required.
• Coder must be able to provide proof of current certification and coding certification identification number.
• 3 years of professional coding experience from the hospital or office settings.
• 2+ years of inpatient hospital coding experience a plus.
• Users will be working extensively in Excel on a daily basis.
• Final score parameters for acceptable results from candidates will be provided later.
• Users will also be required to use other Microsoft Office 2010 applications such as Outlook on a daily basis
