Overview
The Camp Cedar Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for the cleaning, presentation and make up of guest cottages along with maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of hallways and public spaces throughout the resort.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical and repetitious tasks including pushing, pulling, lifting and gripping.
- Flexible availability to include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping preferred but not required.
- Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.

Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial
law. - Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Carries dirty linens from guest rooms to the laundry area for processing.
- Cleans with a variety of approved chemicals to ensure cleanliness of guest cottages and public areas.
- Uses a vacuum daily to maintain floors.
- Collects trash from containers, picks up trash items in guest cottages, and public areas.
- Restocks supplies, such as shampoos, conditioners, soaps, etc. in guest cottages and storage areas.
- Makes beds ensuring a neat, presentable appearance.
- Provide guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with coworkers, including intiating guest interactions, answering questions, and giving directions.
- Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work areas and perform all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines, requirements, and reports all unsafe or unsual conditions to supervision
