FCH Enterprises Inc. (Home of Zippy's Restaurants) is looking for an HR Coordinator/Admin Assistant to the VP of HR.

This position provides high-level administrative support to the VP of Human Resources by conducting a wide variety of complex duties requiring a high degree of accuracy and independent judgement. These duties may include planning meetings, managing calendars, conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests and performing clerical functions. This position will assist in all human resource related functions as needed. Position requires integrity, initiative, discretion and tact in day-to-day contact with various levels of Company personnel.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Types, edits, proofreads and produces reports, memos, letters and other documents using word-relevant computer software.

  2. Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies and maintaining records management database systems.

  3. File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports.

  4. Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence for HR.

  5. Maintains full cycle employee uniforms and name tags inventory, ordering and distribution for Zippy's, ACE, FSI, NBP, and R & M. Ensures that uniforms and name tags inventory is maintained at an appropriate level to meet ordering needs of employees

  1. Assists in maintaining hourly employee files and various other records and reports. Ensures that documents are filed on a current basis.

  1. Assists VP, HR with assignments and projects as needed.

  1. Complies and prepares reports and spreadsheets as requested.

  1. Maintains and orders supplies of HR forms, brochures, posters, handbooks, etc.

  2. Assists with various Human Resources projects and performs other duties as assigned in supporting the operations of the Human Resources Department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Scheduling & Travel:

  • Typically Monday - Friday, 8:00a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Physical Ability:

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.

  • Occasional lifting of 20 - 30 pounds.

  • Sitting most of the day.

  • Standing/walking up frequently.

  • Reaching/bending frequently.

  • Speaking and hearing necessary for communicating with co-workers, employees, managers and the public, and for talking on the telephone

  • Sight for performing computer work and paperwork

Mental Ability:

  • Solid judgment abilities/skills

  • Planning/organizational skills (ability to set long-term or short-term goals, measures, time frames, and coordinate multiple tasks/activities, prioritize)

Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • Must pass background screening and drug screening test.

Environmental Conditions:

  • Air-conditioned, office environment.

  • Must be able to work in the office full time

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma.

  • At least two (2) to five (5) years of administrative support.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Associate's degree, bachelor's degree, or related field.

  • Proficient in ADP or other ATS related platforms.

  • Previous experience in capturing metrics and producing various HR reports.

Desired Skills:

  • Strong multitasking, time management and organizational skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google docs/mail/calendars; ability to learn software programs as required for the position

  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
