Interventional - The Interventional business unit at Teleflex offers innovative medical devices that are used to diagnose and treat coronary and peripheral vascular diseases. We place a strategic emphasis on complex coronary and peripheral interventions, vascular access, bone access, specialty biologic treatments and cardiac assist. Position Summary

To manufacture/test medical device assemblies (including all lower level sub-assemblies and accessories) in a clean room environment. To utilize a wide range of equipment, fixtures, gages and hand tools to manufacture assemble and test medical device products. To maintain all logs, forms and resulting paperwork. To carry out all facets of medical device assembly including organization of work flow and training of personnel at all levels.

Principal Responsibilities

1. Compliance to all policies, work instructions, quality regulations, SOP's, WI, cGMP's and GDP's in the effort to manufacture high quality medical devices at all times

2. Utilizing a variety of machinery and tools to complete assigned manufacturing activity

3. Utilization of microscopes and magnifiers to complete work instructions.

4. Completion of daily documentation following cGMP and FDA guidelines.

5. Meeting or exceeding daily production standards.

6. Perform in-process quality inspections to standards

7. Maintain safety awareness at all times.

8. Maintain regular attendance.

9. Follow clean room protocols for hygiene, gowning , & PPE

10. Work collaboratively in a Team environment.

11. Contribute to continuous improvement and Lean initiatives

12. Train others as required.

13. Adhere to and ensure compliance of Teleflex's Code of Ethics, all company guidelines, policies, procedures, and

housekeeping standards.

MOLDING:

1. Demonstrate ability to follow and adhere to written work instructions

2. Demonstrate competency in utilizing molding machines and tools

3. Capable of set-up/breaking-down molding equipment

4. Capable of performing preventative and unplanned maintenance activities

5. Perform in-process inspections to quality standard

6. Demostrate competency in using testing equipment

7. Demonstrate competency in using PAD Printer

8. Reduce rework/scrap through first-pass completion

9. Cross-train in other departments to create flexibilty

10. Achieve standard production rates per operation

11. Perform any other duties of a similar or related nature as required and as assigned in Molding

Education / Experience Requirements

High School/Trade School or GED required. Demonstrated ability to read and write English and to perform simple to complex mathematics. Abiltiy to read blue-prints.

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

. 2-3 year experience working in a molding manufacturing setting

2. Experience using equipment and tools

3. Prior medical/dental device assembly experience.

Other Qualifications -

Sedentary work, walking, standing, fingering, feeling, pulling, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motion, required to have close visual acuity to assemble parts, no adverse environmental conditions.
