Summary:
Supervises the daily activities of assigned Imaging staff.
Responsibilities:
Determines, coordinates, and supervises daily staffing assignments and staffing levels. Trains, coaches, and evaluates assigned staff on performance expectations.Develops and implements action plans to meet and exceed performance improvement and safety initiatives.Assists with the preparation of the operational capital budget under the guidance of imaging leadership. Reviews and approves payroll for their direct reports. Orders supplies and maintains appropriate inventory level in accordance with established budget.Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels. Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.Oversees equipment quality control testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and requirements.Coordinates patient care with other members of the healthcare team to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.

Additional Job Information:
Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Work Experience: Three (3) years of technologist experience. Other Information: Appropriate Florida State Licensure depending on modality of supervision. Must be certified as Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) and can be certified as American Registry of Radiology Tech (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).Additional Education Info: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.Additional Credential Info: Can be certified as American Registry of Radiology Tech (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
