Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry. We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 30+ labs throughout the country. Our team is growing, and we are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Dynamic Dental Solutions Dental Lab in Jacksonville, FL for a Full-Time Implant Coordinator/Case Entry/Conversion Specialist.

The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

  • Enter sales orders into Labtrac for all cases, print, and attach.
  • Call offices to clarify order entry, questions, due dates and rush cases.
  • Assist with answering Company phone calls related to implant cases.
  • Accountable for workflow and assignment of cases meeting department due dates.
  • Completely read prescriptions and specifications received from clinicians. Clarify questions with leadership.
  • Communicate proposed treatment plan with clinicians by way of speaking the terminologies.
  • Confer with lab technicians to resolve problematic scenarios, and provide technical information.
  • Ensure the work flow process meets Company standards of quality control, production and documentation.
  • May require sporadic chairside assistance to attach a processed immediate denture to new implants on the day of surgery in the dental office. May be called upon to provide other technical advice and support at the discretion of the surgeon and/or restorative dentist.
  • Serves as a technical resource for Technical Communication of Implant Restorations.
  • Call on the hold shelf to be sure we have the updated status of the cases (i.e. whether the case still needs to remain on hold or if we can return to the offices)
  • All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities Required:
  • Strong surgical dentistry knowledge
  • Familiarity with restorative dentistry
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Capable of managing time and working well with others
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
  • Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Required: Minimum of five (5) years working experience in a dental implant treatment planning, guided surgery, and oral-maxillofacial surgical theories.
Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:
  • All office equipment
 Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for long durations of time.
  • Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions.
  • Read and interpret prescriptions and other required documentation.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information.
  • Vision capabilities: depth perception, attention to detail, and/or color.
  • Must have excellent eye to hand coordination.
