Income & Franchise Tax Contractor

BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Income & Franchise Tax Contractor for a REMOTE opportunity.

Position Title: Income & Franchise Tax Contractor

Location: REMOTE
Anticipated Start Date: - 6/17

Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.

Expected Duration: 5 Months Contract

Job Type: Contract and Remote (Anywhere in USA)
Pay Range: $70/hr-$78/hr.

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).
Must Have

• Deloitte Standard Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Other Business-Related Field
• Income tax returns Experience.
• State income and franchise tax experience.

Nice to Have

• Deloitte Standard Qualifications
• Big Four or Large CPA Firm Experience
• Communication skills
• Public Accounting experience
• Research and Writing Skills
• State Tax Analysis
• State Tax Planning Experience
• State Tax Research
• Active PTIN required to start assignment
• Public Accounting experience
• Investment Management experience is a plus
• Experience in OneSource, GoSystems and/or similar tax software and a strong interest in learning new technology.
• Excellent communications skills
• Advanced Tax Technology experience
