Who You'll Work With
Our Global Industry team provides our clients deep industry perspectives and enhances our differentiation by applying context and insights unique to the industry segments we serve. Our industry expertise is critical to the success of our customers, partners, and people and enables us to deliver more impactful and transformational work. You will report to our Capital Markets Managing Director, within the global Financial Services industry.
What you will do
- Provide strategic guidance and advisory services to clients in the capital markets industry, including exchanges, treasury, hedge funds, pension funds, FinTech, etc.
- Drive $5M+ in attributed sales revenue across client engagements.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, regulatory changes and competitive landscapes to inform client strategies and decision-making processes.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to address client challenges, such as risk management, regulatory compliance, market expansion, and product development.
- Lead and manage consulting engagements with a utilization target of 40%, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet client objectives an exceed expectations.
- Collaborate with local market leaders and cross-functional teams to leverage diverse expertise and perspectives in developing comprehensive client solutions.
- Cultivate a culture of inclusion and connection across the capital markets community at Slalom.
- Drive thought leadership both internally and externally to build brand awareness around our expertise in the capital markets industry.
What you bring
- Extensive experience (15+ years) and deep domain expertise in the capital markets industry, with a proven track record of success in consulting / advisory and technology implementation roles.
- History of building and managing sales pipelines of $5M+
- Financial product knowledge/ expertise in equities, fixed incomes, foreign exchange and derivatives.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements governing the capital markets landscape, such as MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, Basel III, FRTB, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients at all levels of an organization.
- Proven leadership abilities, including experience managing consulting engagements, leading teams and driving results.
- Advanced degree in finance, business administration, economics or a related field preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM or CPA are a plus.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.For this position, the base salary pay range for Director is $175,000 to $307,000 and the targeted base salary pay range is $220,000-$270,000. The base salary pay range for Senior Director is $206,000 to $359,000 and the targeted base salary pay range is $270,000-$310,000. In addition, this position is eligible for variable pay through an annual bonus compensation plan. These plans are based on achievement against sales targets and/or business objectives.Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
