JOB DESCRIPTION

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

- Perform routine maintenance on all production tools, including machine repairs and PMs.

- Repair molds as required by machining welded mold components.

- Repair hot runners, including changing their components.

- Manufacture machine parts based on prints or dimensioning and sketching existing parts.

- Be required to participate in the on-call program and may need to work additional hours as needed.

- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Keep a well-organized and clean work area.

- Follow all safety rules and procedures and observe the operations to ensure a safe environment.

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or GED; trade school experience in Machine Shop is a plus.

- 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance-related position, repairing injection molds.

- Ability to interpret documents such as manuals, blueprints, and hot runner prints.

- knowledge in using precision measuring tools.

- Ability to solve practical problems with injection molds.

- Basic mathematical skills and machine shop mathematical skills are required.

- Ability to perform work in a mature and professional manner, demonstrating personal responsibility.

- Work well with other employees and fulfill all assigned duties.
