SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

* Safe Mold Handling practices
* Safely perform Mold Set-ups and start-ups in a timely manner.
* Inspect work center for hazards and correct or notify if safety hazards are found.
* Filling out Process records
* Day to day processing adjustments with limited supervision
* Cycle time verification and cycle time improvement techniques
* Ability to read a part drawing and measure using calipers, micrometers or other basic measuring instruments.
* Participate in on the job technical training

Typical office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet, and time spent on the shop floor will be subject to standard noise levels in a manufacturing environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Minimum of 3 years injection molding set up experience
* Basic knowledge of Continuous Improvement; Lean Manufacturing; 5S Methodology

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
