Join a rewarding team with Carlisle Weatherproofing Technology (CWT). We are seeking a Inside Sales Account Representative to join our sales team. This position maintains and grows business with key accounts in the OEM market segments. Perform a variety of critical sales activities including, but not limited to account management, product assortment, forecasting, and dispute resolution. This position requires monitoring of account trends, strategic information gathering, preparation and execution of plans that directly result in increased revenue of your assigned account base.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

* Maintain and grow business with existing key accounts. Identify and target new OEM accounts.
* Meet assigned targets for sales volume, revenue, profitability, market share, and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.
* Respond to customer pricing requests and prepare product recommendations & price quotes.
* Operate as the lead point of contact and manage communications with key accounts, including responding to emails, resolving disputes, and setting expectations on lead times and product availability.
* Work closely with customers to develop sales forecasts and monitor open orders and inventory levels. Monitor backorders, shipping performance, and review rescheduling report daily and communicate in a timely manner with customers and operations on backorder situations.
* Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
* Build and maintain strong, trustworthy customer relationships.
* Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including customer service, operations, supply chain, technical support, R&D and management resources in order to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations.
* Analyze and track competitive activity, and proactively develop plans and programs to leverage opportunities

* Regular sitting, standing and walking throughout the day to accomplish tasks.
* Occasional sitting.
* Manual and finger dexterity used regularly with some repetitive finger motions.
* Lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
* Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision; able to identify colors, small letters and numbers; hand/eye coordination, depth perception and able to adjust focus.

* Associates degree and two (2) years of related experience in a sales environment with heavy customer interaction or high school diploma/GED and four (4) years of related experience in a sales environment with heavy customer service
* Experience in the Construction or Building Materials industry preferred
* Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Able to work professionally and effectively through email and phone.
* Excellent computer skills with MS Office programs and experience with MRP systems.
* Able to build rapport and enhance Carlisle relationships with customers.
* Exceptional organization skills, detail-oriented approach and thorough in completing tasks with speed.
* Able and willing to work overtime and flexible hours to meet customer needs.
* Self-motivated, have and maintain a positive attitude, show initiative and act with sense of urgency.
* Solid critical thinking skills to analyze information and develop creative approaches to problem solving.
* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, suppliers, and employees.
* Ability to establish relations with a wide range of personalities, cultural backgrounds and educational levels.
* Able to anticipate issues and work with cross functional resources for problem resolution.
* Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
