The role of the Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is to maximize the productivity of our Advanced Technology Sales Team. Primarily by partnering with and providing support to our Advanced Technology Account Executives (ATAEs) in addition to other Field Sales Coworkers. 

Essential Functions: 
 
The primary function of this role is to provide back-office sales support for Microsoft software/services in the Federal State and Local segment under current Enterprise Agreements.  This role works autonomously with limited management oversight and includes:
 

• Create EDCs for new products/model changes;
• Acts as primary POC for timely and accurate data entry into CDW Systems with creation of Quotes and Sales Orders for customer PO/Contract documents;
• Provide direct Customer interaction on order fulfillment updates; and
• Leads in Microsoft invoice reconciliation and coordination in product returns, and invoice discrepancies.

Additional Responsibilities:
 
Additional responsibilities may include performance and/or support of the following tasks supporting the defined business area:
 

• Develop and maintain various tracking/reporting capabilities to monitor transaction status and Microsoft invoice processing;
• Maintain awareness of Microsoft product SKUs and licensing compatibility;
• Provide periodic reporting to management as required;
• Analyze/resolve problem transactions and escalate to management expeditiously to maintain the defined timeframe for invoice processing;
• Identify areas of process improvement in this role on the functions performed to provide continuous improvements; 
• Maintain a sense of urgency to process business requirements; and
• May provide oversight, guidance and training to others in a similar role.
   

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

• 3 years or more of technology industry or 2 year of Microsoft software/services experience;
• Excellent communication skills, detail oriented, effective interpersonal skills, energetic/enthusiastic, and logical thought in problem identification and resolution;
• Subject Matter expert in MS-Excel skills including pivot-tables, VLOOKUP and graphs;
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and problem solve

Preferred Qualification:

• BA/BS Degree from accredited university;
• 5 years or more of technology industry or > 3 year of Microsoft software/services experience; and 
• Strong knowledge of internal CDW systems (AS400 / SPS)
