Position SummaryThe Department of English at Michigan State University is currently seeking to appoint one or more fixed-term instructor/assistant professor(s) to teach the following classes during the 2021-22 academic year. Fall 21- ENG 210: Introduction to Literary Studies, ENG 328: Readings in Novel and Narrative; Spring 22- two general education courses on the general topics of IAH 221C: Great Ages Modern World and IAH 231: Human Values in the Arts & Humanities, ENG329: Readings in Poetry and Poetics, ENG 153: Introduction to Women Authors and ENG 320A: Methodologies of Literary History: Genre. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in literary studies and/or general education/integrative studies and/or Film Studies. General areas of pedagogical experience include literary studies and online teaching.Equal Employment Opportunity Statement

Doctorate -English

Minimum RequirementsMA in English or related field.Experience teaching at the college level.
