The Department of Management at Michigan State University seeks an instructor to teach human resource management beginning August 2023. The initial course to teach is "Compensation and Reward Systems." This course is part of the undergraduate major (B.A.) in Human Resource Management at Michigan State University's Broad College of Business. Instruction will be in person on campus.
The "Compensation and Reward Systems" course (MGT 412) addresses total compensation including base pay, bonuses, stock options, and benefits. This course shows how managers can use compensation to attract, retain, and motivate qualified employees. It gives students background for evaluating and designing compensation and reward systems. Students gain awareness of current issues and trends in compensation and benefits. They come to understand the constraints affecting compensation practices in the United States.

Minimum RequirementsThe ideal candidate will demonstrate successful experience teaching human resource management courses and working in the field of human resource management.
