IP Legal Assistant - Hybrid

Beacon Hill Legal is searching for an IP Legal Assistant with a major law firm's New Haven, CT office. This is a hybrid role with 2 days in office.

This person should have at least 2 years of law firm experience and would ideally have experience in patent prosecution. The salary for this role ranges from $50,000-$58,000.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting and formatting memos, correspondence, legal documents and various forms.
• Proofread material for correct grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting.
• Open and maintain client files including records management related to clients and to the firm.
• Schedule court depositions, court reporters, expert witnesses, hearings, and other special functions.
• Make travel or conference arrangements, as needed.
• Coordinate a variety of accounting/billing duties including pro forma edits, check requests, & matter intake.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years law firm experience
• IP experience preferred
