Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

The IT Coordinator reports directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and provides project and operational support to the Firm's IT Directors. This position requires an understanding of the operations of the CIO's areas of responsibility as well as institutional IT policies and procedures.

Primary responsibilities include superior writing skills to assist in drafting IT communications for Firmwide and local distribution; coordinating busy and shifting calendars to include scheduling and organizing meetings and applying good judgment in determining priorities; coordinating logistical arrangements for meetings including space reservations, virtual accommodations and troubleshooting, catering, audio/visual needs, and equipment set-up. Additional responsibilities include drafting and/or refining presentations for meetings; providing data insights and organizing the information in a clear and concise manner; assist with the IT budget process; evaluate and respond to vendor requests.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, with the demonstrated ability to respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining confidentiality. The successful candidate should be able to plan-ahead, prioritize, collaborate with others, and adapt to changing situations. The position requires superior attention to detail, great organizational skills, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and juggle multiple projects. They must have a demonstrated ability to manage complex calendars, coordinate domestic and international travel, process expense reports, assist in preparing presentations, and act as a liaison between team members and other departments. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively and professionally with executives, and act as liaison with clients and their assistants

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or support role and have an Associate's Degree or High School diploma. Experience in or supporting Technology executives is a plus. This position should have a strong understanding of office technology and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. Candidates should have expert working knowledge of Excel. Experience in SQL is also a plus. In addition, candidates should have strong skills in organizing and prioritizing workloads to meet deadlines; effective oral and written communication skills; the ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures; the ability to use good judgment regarding administrative issues; the ability to maintain poise, presence, and professionalism; and exhibit solid judgment.
