Your role:

The IT Commercial Data and Solutions Architect position will have three major responsibilities

• Business partner working with Business Excellence (Operational Analytics and Data Science) and Therapeutic Areas to translate analytics requirements and models into work efforts for data integration and quality development team
• Architect and implementation lead for future-state Commercial Data Lake and Warehouse infrastructure and the future state target data model
• Team lead for managing current ETL workflows of data from sources to existing target data model including data mastering processes

Location: This role can be based in Rockland, MA or be remote.

Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications

• BA/BS in a technical subject area (i.e. Computer Science, Engineering, or related field)
• 7+ years of experience in data warehousing/business intelligence
• 3+ years of experience in data integration (ETL) development using Informatica PowerCenter 9.x/10.
• 2+ years working Amazon Web services such as S3, Redshift, Athena, Glue, etc
• Experience managing a technical development team of 3+ resources

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SQL script development using Toad for Oracle 11.x/12.x, or similar
• 3+ years of experience with UNIX shell scripting
• 1+ years previous experience with commercial pharmaceutical data
• Understanding of best data modeling principles and the ability to create and modify complex data models
• Understanding of standard data integration techniques and ability to recommend and implement appropriate solution based on business intelligence requirements.
• Able to communicate on a technical and business level.
• Experience in working with cross-functional, multi-cultural teams as well as skills to manage virtual teams of external vendors.
• Willingness to travel (up to 10%)
• Experience with one or more of the following: Tableau, SalesForce.com, GoAnywhere, Dell Boomi
