FECON, LLC is a vegetation management equipment manufacturer located in Lebanon, Ohio near Kings Island Amusement Park. Job Summary:

The Information Technology Manager will manage information technology (IT) and guide the team toward the goals while conducting regular checks on software, hardware, and security. They will determine when systems need updated, fixed, replaced, or added and help guide decisions on how this will be accomplished.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Hires and trains members of the technical staff.
  • Assigns duties and responsibilities and oversees workflow of IT staff.
  • Oversees the day-to-day workflow of the department.
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and construction.
  • Handles discipline of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Architects the information and communications infrastructure to support current and future needs of the business and provides the business case justifications for implementing new technologies.
  • Maintains the infrastructure which includes the network, servers, workstations, software and telecommunications equipment.
  • Scale virtulization platform
  • Windows Servers environment
  • Meraki network hardware (firewall, routers, switches, wifi, etc.)
  • Infor SyteLine
  • User training
  • Service Pack and Upgrade deployment
  • Form and Report Customizaitons
  • Office 365 (Email,Teams,SharePoint,etc.)
  • Personal Computer and Desktop Application support
  • Disaster System Recovery including routine testing and validation
  • Voice over IP systems
  • Performs analytical research using database tools such as MS SQL and MS Access and reporting tools such as Power BI.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Networking and Server Experience: Experience with setup and adminstration of Windows Server including Domain Controller, Active Directory, DNS; Experienced in administration of virtualizaiton environments; Experienced in adminstration of basic networks; Experienced in adminstration of Office 365; Proficient in supporting Windows PC users.
  • ERP Administration: Experienced in SyteLine ERP application and providing system administrator for this or other ERP applications. Capable of creating basic MS SQL queries and use report writing tools such as SQL SSRS Reporting services and Power BI.
  • General Computer Experience: Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word and Access.
  • Reasoning Development: Ability to interpret and carry out a variety of instructions funished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables.
  • Language Development: Ability to read manuals and reports, workplace rules and procedures; speak with poise and confidence, using correct English.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business or equivalent
  • Minimum 2+ years in IT management
  • Minimum 2+ years working with ERP Systems in a manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent will be required to frequently (67-100% time on job) sit and frequently (67-100% time on job) perform repetitive movements including
  • twisting and bending wrists while leaving them in prolonged positions of flexion and extension with regard to typing. The incumbent will occasionally (6-33% time on job) be required to stand, walk or stoop.
