Basic Function

LyondellBasell is looking for a Senior IT Product Analyst, specializing in Treasury function and technology, for its Finance Product Team. The product team is part of LyondellBasell's global IT department and is responsible to provide best in class IT solutions to the Finance organization. The product team is an interlock between business and IT, and it manages planning, delivery and operations of all technology products and solutions for Finance.

LyondellBasell uses a portfolio of SAP and non-SAP solutions for transaction processing and reporting, supported by various integration technologies. The Senior IT Product Analyst is a well-rounded technology professional specializing in finance and treasury domains. He/she is a trusted advisor of business and executes end to end SecDevOps responsibilities for relevant products. He/she reports to the IT Product Manager.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute various activities related to development and operations of technology products and solutions in use by Treasury and associated functions. Coordinate work with other groups within and outside IT to ensure right level of service is delivered to product users
  • Build and maintain relationship with business colleagues, be their trusted advisor and go-to person
  • Provide technology leadership for activities ranging from strategic to operational
  • Support creation and maintenance of technology roadmap. Through research and industry network, bring forward ideas to improve business processes leveraging technology
  • Support development of business case for investment proposals
  • Participate in, and when necessary, lead projects; coordinate project activities with participants from other groups in business and IT
  • Work hands-on on SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) activities: gathering and analyzing requirements, design and configuration, testing, training, deploying, post go-live support and transition to operations
  • Support incident and problem management. Provide expertise to find solutions to complex issues, when called upon to do so. Review design and provide solution acceptance after testing on behalf of IT product team
  • Coordinate activities for monthly product release
  • Work with enterprise architecture team to develop appropriate solution architecture and execute them through projects and enhancements
  • Ensure integration with all required applications and technology platforms
  • Support application portfolio management; application rationalization, modernization, decommissioning and data archival
  • Execute timely contract renewals for relevant products and services
  • Provide training on processes and technology to new joiners as well as refresher sessions for existing teams

Min. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, finance, information systems, business administration or related field
  • Expertise in SAP Finance and Treasury & Risk Management (TRM) and integration with related applications
  • Deep knowledge of Treasury processes like liquidity management, cashflow forecasting, risk management, in-house cash, etc. in a manufacturing organization
  • Minimum seven years' experience in implementing SAP solutions in a functional role
  • Minimum five years' experience in managing projects and teams, influencing stakeholders, managing organizational change
  • Experience in SAP configuration and functional development
  • Experience in integration technologies like SAP IDOCs, xml, Azure
  • Experience in Fintech solutions and their integration to SAP
  • Experience in data & analytics
  • Demonstrated ability to work in matrix organization and forge strong partnership with business and IT, ability to manage senior stakeholders
  • Experience in SecDevOps and agile, in IT service management and delivery; ITIL certification is a plus point
  • Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience in leading and working in multi-cultural teams across onsite and offshore locations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience of working in Finance or Treasury function
  • Skill in Microsoft Power applications
  • Hands-on experience in SAP S/4 HANA
