Position summary:

The Janitor position will work independently to clean and maintain a general production area, lunchroom, restrooms, offices, and lobby area. This position will also ensure the exterior of the building is safe, clean, and free of debris.
Responsibilities

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of workmanship by keeping the shop and office organized and clean
• Maintain cleanliness of all shared building locations including: the lobby, lunchroom, meeting rooms and bathrooms
• Notify the area lead of any conditions, inside or outside, that might be unsafe or need repair
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming
• Wipe down office and shop equipment
• Maintain cleaning supplies to ensure shortages do not occur

Job Requirements

• Attention to detail
• Ability to cross train in other areas of production when required
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment
