Job Title:JB Cardiovascular Medicine Undergraduate Research Program - Student Assistant (M)Department:Medicine | Davis Heart and Lung Institute DHLRI-JM

The Ohio State JB Cardiovascular Medicine Summer Research Internship seeks to provide research training opportunities for STEM or established college students in the field of translational cardiovascular science. Students will spend time in a lab co-mentored by a clinical and basic science/engineering faculty member gaining basic research lab skills, as well as participating in translational projects aimed at advancing our understanding or developing new therapeutic/diagnostic strategies for human cardiovascular disease. Awarded Student may be expected to present project findings. This is an hourly paid internship based on years of education.

Minimum Qualifications

Student applicants must be in good academic standing (GPA ≥ 3.0) with an interest in cardiovascular science. Requires successful completion of a background check; Selected candidate may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.

Applications will be reviewed by 2 - 3 reviewers from the Division of Cardiology and the Davis Heart and Lung Research Institute. All applicants will be notified of results.
