Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Joint Operations Center (JOC) analyst role is responsible for managing critical customer outages, priority 1 and priority 2, to restore service in timely manner. Analyst will monitor environment for critical issues and engage appropriate supplier technical resources to take action on the incidents. Works directly with supplier management and staff to ensure work is performed to restore service. Also works with SAIC MSI Service Desk staff to assess reported issues and determine appropriate course of action to include proper incident prioritization and assignment. For cross-functional issues, JOC analyst will manage technical conference calls with multiple suppliers, management, and customers to drive solution for critical issues. JOC staff provide communications in multiple formats and methods to stakeholders, including email, daily reports, and verbal communications. The JOC is a 24x7 operation; analysts will be required to work weekends in rotation with other shift members.

Required Education and Experience:
Must have a Bachelors and 0+ years of experience, an Associates and 2+ years of experience, will accept a high school education and 4+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
Must have at least 1 year of relevant IT experience or education.
Must have a Background in information technology operations support and troubleshooting
Must have working knowledge of networking principals in order to assess reported issues
Must be have proficient communication skills to prepare both written and verbal communications
