Natural Gas Infrastructure Services

The DDS Companies team has over 100 years of combined experience in safely designing and constructing natural gas infrastructure in rural, suburban and urban settings. Since 2001, we have developed an extensive resume of projects, including over 100 miles of gas design, and many other utility design projects. Our highly experienced teams provide safe and efficient turn-key service to customers throughout New York and Pennsylvania.

The Laborer-Gas Distribution (Greater Rochester and surrounding counties) role will be involved in various aspects of natural gas distribution projects and will be responsible for assisting in the task at hand working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Previous natural gas construction experience is preferred but not required.

This position is required to perform the following functions:

• Ability to work safely and efficiently while performing daily assigned tasks
• Work in and around natural gas distribution job sites including public right a ways, private property, commercial and residential properties
• Ensure company equipment and materials are maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner.
• Ability to follow instructions and guidelines.
• Able to operate a backhoe or smaller type of equipment as required.

Job Qualifications:
Skills and Experience

• Ability to pass Operator Qualification Testing for Natural Gas work
• Valid Driver's License and/or CDL preferred
• Must be able to lift at least 100 lbs.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of time, with flexible hours inclusive of weekends and holidays

Preferred:

• High School Diploma or Vocational training in a closely related field
• 2 - 4 years Construction Laborer experience
• Mechanically inclined
