Laser Marker

The Laser Marker is responsible for ensuring the laser marking process produces quality parts according to specified work order requirements. This role involves operating and programming laser marking equipment, reading blueprints, using measuring equipment to inspect parts, and performing light assembly work. The Laser Marker must maintain equipment, adhere to safety policies, and support the company's Quality System.

4th Shift Monday - Friday 6:00am to 6:00pm
Responsibilities

Laser Marker Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate and program laser marking equipment.
• Read and comprehend blueprints for part manufacture and measurement.
• Use measuring equipment (micrometer, caliper, etc.) to inspect parts.
• Follow work order traveler and perform first piece inspection.
• Maintain machine setups with minimal supervision and perform preventative maintenance.
• Package parts according to customer requirements and perform light assembly work.
• Perform buffing and blasting processes and move parts to the next operation.
• Meet internal delivery schedules and enter production information into ERP system.
• Maintain organized work area (5S) and participate in Operational Excellence Program.
• Adhere to safety policies, wear personal protective equipment, and support Quality System.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements, Education & Experience (incl. KSA's and certifications)

• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
