Our team is growing, and we are hiring at NDX Dental Art Lab in Lansing, Michigan for a Lead CAD/CAM Technician.

The regular hours for this position are from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

• Monitor workflow to ensure tasks are completed on time per the dentist’s prescription/requests adhering to quality standards set forth by the company.
• Working with other department leaders to communicate challenges or issues in production.
• Training and development of team members to optimize workflow and to mitigate overtime.
• Monitor and assess new materials and integrate them into production when available.
• Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure minimal equipment downtime.
• Handle technical calls pertaining to the department.
• Assist clients with technical questions.
• Participate in team member review process.
• Participate in leadership training events
• All other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities Required:

• Computer skills
• High level of organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
• Verbally communicate with all levels of staff, leadership and customers maintaining a positive demeanor and nurturing teamwork. 

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

• Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must have 12 months of experience or specified skills required for CAD/CAM Department           

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach.
• Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions.
• Read and interpret prescriptions and other required documentation.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical information.
• Vision capabilities: depth perception, attention to detail, and/or color.
