This can be a remote position; the selected candidate can reside and perform the work from anywhere within the United States.

The Role:

HR leaders and practitioners are relying on more and more on people analytics, and there is a huge opportunity to increase our skills and experiences using data. This role will transform & drive people analytics and workforce planning throughout the HR function, and to drive toward making better workforce decisions using data. The role sits within the Global Analytics HR COE, yet will involve many partnerships throughout HR. Overall, this Lead People Analyst will drive the capability development of people analytics throughout HR. It will bring a deep perspective on the company structure and data as well as provide the opportunity to grow in relationship leadership skills!

Responsibilities:

  • Own the formation and drive ongoing management of a new people analytics community, designed to, in part, better coordinate HR analytics work throughout the function; raise more opportunities to solve business problems using advanced analytics; and further elevate the use of analytics within the HR business structure!
  • Create and communicate a common playbook and governance of using data in HR, including common terms and definitions
  • Head analytics skills development within the HR business, including counseling on when and how to best use data
  • Direct strategy for effective workforce planning across HR, including identifying gaps in workforce planning capabilities and providing solutions to raise those capabilities
  • Provide ongoing data analysis and data driven narratives of various company data trends, focusing on providing insights for HR senior leaders and telling the story in a way that motivates change opportunities (graphically, quantitatively and qualitatively)
  • Participate in advanced analytics special projects
  • Drive and become a change agent to people data projects and use cases that will enhance the impact and value of solutions

Additional Job Description

Required:
  • Experience as a data practitioner, especially from a people analytics or workforce planning team
  • Experience leading workforce planning efforts, especially as a SME rolling out to users
  • Experience presenting and explaining people data to a wide audience, including leadership
  • Experience leading project teams
  • Ability to work with autonomy and ambiguity
  • Highly developed storytelling skills with the ability to distill complex subjects to a wider audience
  • Highly developed communication, interpersonal and team skills
  • Proficiency and experience in project management skills
  • Familiarity with statistical methods, forecasting, and modeling methodologies

Preferred:
  • Experience working with HR systems, especially workforce planning modules
  • Experience in human resources, business analysis, industry research, management consulting, strategic planning, or quantitative analysis
  • Psychology or other coursework in the social sciences, including quantitative methods and research design
  • Knowledge of or experience with qualitative methods such as case studies, focus groups, etc.
  • Experience with manipulating, aggregating and normalizing data from different sources to derive insights and solve complex problems
  • Proven results of leading change

Compensation: The median level of salary compensation for this role is $109,283.

Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
