Lead Radiation Therapist Full Time Days

Functions as a team leader overseeing daily clinical operations related to Simulation and Radiation Therapy Treatment in addition to duties as Staff Radiation Therapist. Assists with patient care activities and collaborates with other team members. Monitors daily staffing schedule to ensure adequate staffing and maintaining productivity measures as defined for service line. Additional administrative duties include ordering and maintaining supplies for treatment area, input to annual budget preparation, assures technical staff licensure and education status are current with all required competencies and mandatory education completed. Ensures appropriate QA routines are followed and documentation is complete. Provides input to annual employee performance reviews. Cares for patients adult and geriatric patient groups.

ARRT Registration

Graduate of an ARRT accredited radiation therapy program

ARRT Registration with 3-5 years radiation therapy clinical experience in radiation therapy. Associates degree in Allied Health or Business desirable. High level understanding of CPT coding and billing processes/compliance requirements, preferred.
