Job Summary: We're looking for a Lead Software Engineer who wants to have a big impact shaping an innovative and meaningful B2B SaaS solution that helps customers have more meaningful conversations. This role is based out of our Seattle office but is 100% remote as needed.

As an engineering leader, you will be directly responsible for key product initiatives as we move into the next phase of product expansion at Flowroute. This role will work closely with key leaders in the product and design organizations.

About Flowroute: Flowroute is the first software-centric carrier to provide communication services and technology for cloud-based products. We offer a wide range of communication solutions that are reliable, high-quality, and simple for customers to implement.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
  • Lead designs of major software components, systems, and features.
  • Mentor and train other team members on design techniques and coding standards.
  • Make strategic decisions on complicated and ambiguous technical problems.
  • Work closely with engineering partners and stakeholders to drive organizational alignment.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in software development.
  • 7 years knowledge of one or more mainstream programming language.
  • 7 years knowledge of one or more mainstream development tools.
  • 7 years knowledge of Unix/Linux platforms.
  • Ability to speak and write in English fluently.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Master's degree or PhD in computer science or related technical field.
  • Experience with Python, C/C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, Golang
  • Experience with Django, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, SIP, SMPP, Kamailio, OpenSIPS
  • Experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB, Redshift, etc.)
