Hiring rate of position: Full-time $18.00 - $22.50/hour based on years of LPN work experience. Temporary on-call $19.752. Additional shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd shift.

Location of position: Norfolk Regional Center
Examples of Work
Licensed Practical Nurse to perform duties within scope of practice including medication administration; documentation; initiate therapeutic interactions with patients; perform treatments; transcribe doctor's orders; evaluate physical health and emotional status of patients under supervision of RN; perform assigned patient education; complete order entry; supply inventory and ordering; use of electronic medical record. Will be a contributing member of the interdisciplinary treatment team delivering holistic and individualized care to patients.
Qualifications / Requirements
REQUIREMENTS: A current license to practice as a licensed practical nurse in Nebraska or authority based on the Nurse Licensure Compact to practice as a licensed practical nurse in Nebraska is required.

PREFERRED: Knowledge or experience working with patients with mental illness or psychiatric disorders. Valid driver's license or the ability to provide independent authorized transportation.
