Your Job

As a Logistics Advanced Technician, you'll identify and mitigate risks, maintain equipment to ensure operational excellence, and troubleshoot systems to enhance our logistics operations. You'll also lead shutdown planning, solve complex problems, share valuable knowledge, and mentor team members, ensuring high safety and quality standards.

Pay will be determined based on experience with additional opportunities for training and growth. All positions do not have a limit on pay range.

What You Will Do

  • Proactively identify hazards and mitigate risk
  • Adhere to high standards for quality and product safety
  • Operate, maintain, and repair equipment to the desired competitive state
  • Flow to the highest value work and continuously build upon one's own capabilities
  • Troubleshoot assets and processes in the Logistics conveyor and palletizer system
  • Apply knowledge and expertise while building and improving asset strategies
  • Assist in shutdown planning and lead execution of that work
  • Actively lead problem solving efforts and drive to the root cause
  • Learn, apply, and teach the equipment theory of operation and the operational processes
  • Continuously build technician and other reliability technician capabilities including serving as a mentor/field assessor for the PSQ authorization process
  • Effectively communicate valuable information to the team using verbal, written, and electronic communication tools
  • Support and mentor zone owners and the equipment's Primary Person Responsible (PPR) and able to run equipment as needed
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience with conveyor/palletizer maintenance, or a minimum of two years of mill mechanical maintenance experience
What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
  • Trained in using work order systems to initiate repairs and document reliability opportunities (SAP)
  • Operations experience on palletizing equipment within the last five years or mill mechanical maintenance experience within the last five years
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Experience in mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting and repairing
