ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Loss Prevention Agent team, including hiring, training, productivity, accountability and development.
  • Ensure optimal operation of all physical security/inturision detection hardware.
  • Interact with Inventory Control and shrink reporting to identify shrink trends and issues.
  • Investigate to resolution incidents of potential theft, including suspect interviews.
  • Oversee enforcement of all policies and procedures related to Loss Prevention.
  • Interaction with Operations partners regarding Loss Prevention initiatives and support.
  • Oversee building safety initiatives, including safety committee meetings, safety audits, accident review, and other safety initiatives.
  • Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned by the Director of Loss Prevention

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

  • BS/BA degree in Criminal Justice preferred

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Microsoft Excel proficiency required
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office products and Windows Operating Systems
  • Work overtime as required
  • Working knowledge of CCTV systems and access control systems.
  • Emergency preparedness training
  • Basic first aid training
  • Proficient ability to communicate effectively with others using written and spoken English including the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback to team members
  • Expert ability to work under demanding time constraints and production goals
  • Proficient project planning skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize and control job responsibilities in order to meet deadlines in an environment with overlapping and potentially conflicting priorities
  • Possess expert analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Proficient ability to model consistently GameStop's commitment to a respectful, diverse, inclusive, and collaborative work environment
