Summary:
A master level social worker, licensed by the state of Louisiana is responsible for coordinating the services provided to meet the mental health or social work needs of the students with their family members and function as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team. Responsibilities include planning and directing mental health or social work care for students of the health center as needed to assure continuity of care and assisting students with needed individual resource requirements. Also, as needed be a liaison to school personnel with students who are experiencing mental health issues which cause educational difficulties that affect learning.
Requirements:
Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker required
An LMSW would be considered with understanding that LCSW license is expected within 3 years of employment
Two years' experience with at least 1 year in counseling related to adolescents and/or family counseling is preferred
Current LCSW or LPC license required
