Machine Operator

FULL-TIME

$17.09/hr

Role and Responsibilities
Team Members must demonstrate the core skills which include understanding Company safety policies, housekeeping standards, statistical process control, following verbal and written instructions, knowing the product line and manufacturing standards and the essential duties for assigned work station.

Essential Job Functions
*Operate/monitor coater
*Operate/monitor water bath and embossing roll (Line 2)
*Run all SPC tests, make adjustments and fill out all charts
*Operate filled coating mixing system, granule and sand system, and assist in operating compound system
*Monitor/operate selvedge applicator
*Monitor/operate top film application
*Set up and splice top film
*Assist in the back film operation

Educational Requirements
*Minimum education: HS Diploma
*Must be able to read, write, perform the four basic math functions and be physically able to perform the essential duties
Work Experience
*1-3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
*Must have a basic knowledge of 5S

Skills and Abilities:
*Adherence to strict safety policies
*Adherence to the highest quality standards
*Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to all levels of the organization
*Must have the ability to recognize and prioritize various tasks/projects at the same time
*Must be able to work 8 to 12 hours on his/her feet, lift 110 lbs. on a repeated basis and climb safety ladders when necessary to complete various tasks within the position
*Must work well with other team members on team and other teams

Schedule

Shift start: 7:00AM or 3:00PM or 7:00PM or 11:00PM
Shift length: 8 - 12 hours
Rotating shift with 2 weekends off in a row
