Order Management/ shipping and receiving Specialist

Order Management

• Attends daily Managing Daily Indicators (MDI) meetings
• Preforms minor contract review, inputs orders into Oracle, and supports invoicing activities
• Provides backup to additional order management personnel and to the shipping and receiving department
• Monitor progress of an order throughout the shipment and billing process
• Partner with Sales, Accounting, Production, and Quality to execute any potential order/contract issues
• Provide timely and thorough communication to all customers
• Communicate regularly with management advising any critical issues or opportunities
• Oversee export compliance and prepares documentation for shipments
• Provides information for internal and external audits
• Tracks and assist in customer returns and preforms credits/rebills in accordance with accounting procedures
• Additional tasks as required

• Requires a high school education/GED
• 2 - 4 years support or administrative support experience required
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and graphics is required
• Previous experience with Oracle Management entry and invoicing activities required
• Previous experience working in shipping & receiving required
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to complete multiple duties with accuracy, shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines
• Must be able to prioritize work load efficiently
• Take an active role in identifying and resolving any issues
• Contribute ideas on making process improvements
• Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment
• Able to work under limited supervision / self supervise
