What You Will Be Doing "
As the Plant and Equipment Maintenance Supervisor, you will be working in an entrepreneurial and dynamic environment, you will manage a small team of maintenance technicians, and ensure the production processes operate safely, reliably, and efficiently
"
Maintain and promote safe work practices at all times and participate in safety programs
"
Manage day to day functions of the maintenance team
"
Review and adjust schedules based on workload and available labor
"
Walk the floor to review maintenance work being carried out, and production processes when operational
"
Ensure the maintenance team are adequately trained, coached, equipped, and motivated so that the maintenance programs can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner
"
Promote an environment of teamwork
"
Lead maintenance in troubleshooting equipment and facility challenges
"
Implementation of preventative maintenance program
"
Coordinate, arrange, and supervise maintenance programs to ensure completion of corrective and preventative maintenance of all equipment, minimizing plant down time and extending the operational life of equipment
"
Maintain records for all production equipment
"
Monitor the purchase and inventory of critical spare parts and consumables
"
Continuous improvement of production processes through equipment improvement modifications
"
Approve work orders and assign appropriately and efficiently to the maintenance team
"
Provide oversite and management to Contractors and Vendors on site
"
Maintain Vendor contact for sourcing and ordering materials and supplies for direct repair
"
Weekly reporting
"
Overtime or weekend work is possible dependent upon business need
What You Need for this Position " Adhere to safe work practices by taking personal responsibility to prevent injury or illness from exposure to hazards.
" Minimum 5 years experience in a supervisory role
" Strong diagnostic abilities, analyzing mechanical, electrical, control and operational challenges with production equipment
" Familiar with general production related equipment (compressors, boilers, HVAC systems, motors, gearboxes, plumbing, pneumatics, pumps, conveyors, sensing equipment, etc.)
" Experience with CMMS systems, including implementation
" SolidWorks/AutoCad
" MS Office suite
" Ability to lead a team to achieve solutions
" Attention to detail - work accurately, carefully and efficiently

Education:
" Bachelor's degree in either Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering
" PLC programing experience (preferred)
