Our Maintenance Training Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and or preparing plant-specific training literature manuals systems and class instruction on the fundamentals of mechanical electrical pneumatic hydraulic refrigeration and boiler maintenance and other job related subjects; creating and maintaining training aid equipment and materials student records and control of the scheduling of classes; performing maintenance orientation training of new maintenance team members; interfacing with appropriate vendors concerning training content and delivery. Other duties include coordinating safety training of the maintenance department; performing other tasks as deemed appropriate by the maintenance manager and interfacing with the corporate maintenance team to provide input in the creation revision and delivery of the Tyson standard maintenance training program.

Responsibilities:

• Education: High School Diploma/GED
  
• Experience: 3+ years experience in Refrigeration Maintenance, Industrial maintenance, Electrical or other related experience.
  
• Computer Skills: Competent in Microsoft Excel Word PowerPoint and the ability to learn Tyson SAP-Plant Maintenance system.
  
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong presentation skills.
  
• Special Skills: Strong management skills; sound judgment leadership organizational skills and the ability to work independently with little supervision.
  
• Supervisory: NA
  
• Travel: 10 Travel time required
  
• Responsible to: Maintenance Manager
  
• Shift: The hours for this role vary depending on the needs of our Team Members, generally 1st Shift 6:00AM until complete, but will be required to come in on other Shifts as needed.
  
• Resume is required with submitted application
  
• Must reside in the US to be considered, this role does not offer Sponsorship

• Bachelor s degree preferred
  
• Certifications: Certifications in any training topics or techniques is a plus.
