Your role will be to drive on-time deployment and execution of our software solutions to our law enforcement customers and partners. You will coordinate cross-functionally across all departments to learn our workflow, oversee project planning, and serve as a scrum master to prioritize and distribute the work to suitable resources. To expand our pool of resources, you will also train and mentor other team members, and proactively drive process and system innovation. Our ideal candidate is fundamentally a project manager who has experience deploying integrated software solutions and is passionate about developing others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project planning for new customer implementations, prioritize and efficiently distribute work to appropriate resources.
  • Manage interdependencies for multiple simultaneous projects; oversee tracking and accountability to ensure on-time deployment.
  • Identify, understand and communicate project risks; coordinate with respective teams to mitigate and resolve.
  • Confidently communicate with law enforcement, including all levels of command staff.
  • Develop and execute training plan to grow pool of capable resources both within team and across other departments.
  • Lead research and innovation to proactively improve systems and processes; engage across organization to remove barriers.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Mentor and coach team of direct reports.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with MBA preferred
  • 5+ yrs of applicable work experience preferably in project management
  • Law enforcement experience preferably in records management or with LexisNexis ® Desk Officer Reporting System
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple assignments and projects with varying deadlines
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills-- effectively explain technical issues to business people and business issues to technical people.
  • Proficiency with technology (Excel, various data formats, Project Management, Instructional Design, etc.)
  • Ability to negotiate and influence others
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Proven self-learner with passionate growth mindset
  • Home-based position with some travel required (10-20%)
