This Customer Development Manager position is responsible for leading, building and implementing collaborative business solutions which are aligned with both Tyson and Costco's objectives that achieve desired business results. This position must develop and strengthen a mutual relationship with the Customer at multiple levels resulting in strategic business planning and partnership. This CDM role is responsible for managing and developing Tyson's Branded Frozen & Refrigerated business initiatives, which requires strong skills in selling, project development, portfolio product knowledge, enterprise capabilities and the ability to navigate cross functionally. It is essential to provide clear sales direction, support and information to the customer and internal cross-functional partners, while demonstrating the companies 5 C's behaviors of caring, candor, creativity, collaboration and commitment.
Responsibilities include: Leading our regional branded frozen and refrigerated portfolio initiatives at Costco Midwest and Northeast. Develop and maintain strategic customer relationships. Achieve sales volume and spending budgets while maintaining T&E, AR, Deductions, forecasting accuracy. Negotiate and manage our regional contracts and volume commitments. Maintain weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual business reviews, volume commitments, documentation and trackers. Provide timely concise and effective communication both internally and externally.
