NASCAR seeks to add a talented professional to join us in the position of Manager E-Commerce in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The Manager, E-Commerce serves as NASCAR Data Strategy's subject matter expert on the NASCAR Tracks E-Commerce footprint and is responsible for reporting on the performance of the ticketing platforms for 12+ individual ticketing platforms and their supporting Track websites. The Manager, E-Commerce works with NASCAR web developers to increase site performance and improve user experience in the ticketing flow.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Analyze traffic patterns and trends for NASCAR Track sites and ticketing websites through application of enterprise-level digital analytics platform
  • Report on customer usage of ticketing site including but not limited to: fallout reporting, conversions, and user pathing; develop and report on most common user journeys and touchpoints within Track ticketing instances
  • Develop strategy to drive traffic to NASCAR Tracks websites and their associated ticketing platforms, in partnership with Marketing and Media teams
  • Work with Research team to incorporate user survey feedback to inform site design and content
  • Design and maintain a monthly performance "scorecard" for distribution to senior leadership
  • Provide standard site-level reporting to regional and corporate stakeholders; work with stakeholders to develop enhanced business KPIs and track performance over the sales cycle
  • Analyze digital marketing effectiveness at a campaign and channel level, including year-over-year and quarterly performance; maintain reporting tools and prepare monthly presentations for Marketing and Media teams
  • Provide direction to Data Strategy team in their A/B testing and Experience Personalization efforts; deliver opportunities for implementation to the Track Content and Data Strategy teams; provide weekly reports on test effectiveness
  • Troubleshooting analytics data collection onsite as directed
  • Work with Web Development team to increase site performance and allow for greater opportunities at onsite data collection and ID syncing
Required skills / experience:
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of data operations experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read HTML, JavaScript, and JSON objects preferred
  • Ability to make decisions and move to action with a hands-on approach
  • Familiarity with Adobe Analytics with active eCommerce implementation, preferably in conjunction with Adobe Audience Manager and Adobe Target
  • Experience in translating metrics and trends into regularly scheduled performance reports for senior leadership is essential
  • Business-minded strategic thinker
  • Aptitude for leading cross-functional in a complex environment
  • Acumen in providing high-level digital counsel to senior management
