Position Overview

The Operations Reporting & Governance Manager will oversee the core execution of corporate metrics and special projects, with a forward-thinking and innovative approach to the continuous improvement. They will also have responsibility for supporting the creation, modification, and socialization of collaboration tools and KPIs.

Responsibilities:

  • Collection and execution of monthly Corporate Issue Resolution & Client Delivery Metrics, utilizing PowerBI and producing reports for Executive Leadership.
  • Participate and/or lead efforts to design/develop automated solutions for key departmental reports, communications, metrics dashboards and visualizations. Leverage and identify existing and additional data sources/tools.
  • Continuously review standardized reporting needs with leadership, gathering new requirements and building new reports based on best practices.
  • Analyze complex Production data sets in order to understand trends and patterns occurring in metrics; including creation of presentations to effectively communicate findings and facilitate strategic decision-making.
  • Participate in safeguarding the integrity and continuously improving the corporate Issue Resolution Process -- exposure to other NPD teams outside of Operations in this capacity.
  • Contribute to departmental training initiatives and communications for the Global Operations organization.
  • Review and identify opportunities for simplification, standardization, collaboration and automation as well as improve efficiency by eliminating non-value-added work.
  • Support the development and upkeep of all collaborative platforms and content (including SharePoint).
  • Partner with Ops resources to support Production to make the department more efficient (including schedules, stability monitoring, enhancements and Production Task Force participation).


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 - 6 years' work experience
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and an investigative nature
  • A demonstrated ability to build a rapport / trust with people and be collaborative
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to communicate at multiple levels (individual and large group)
  • A proven 'get up and go' attitude; a self-starter with the ability to take initiative, work independently, time-manage to adhere to deadlines and troubleshoot/problem-solve
  • Must possess a high level of learning agility to deal with complexity and flexibility to adapt to change
  • A drive to want to learn and improve processes
  • Experience working on cross-functional initiatives and with cross-functional teams & stakeholders is a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft O365 Suite
  • Strong PowerPoint skills
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, including the ability to create and update Pivot Tables and Macros
  • Project management experience preferred
  • SQL scripting experience preferred
  • Knowledge of visualization tools (ie: Tableau, MS PowerBI)
