The Manager, Project Management, M&A Integration, is part of a multi-disciplinary team which is charged with integrating new coworkers, processes, data, technology from acquired companies and/or mergers into the CDW ecosystem successfully. This role serves as a point person to the business, understanding coworker/ business needs, and manages the overall delivery of the integration.  The project manager leads on mitigating risk, solving issues, monitoring dependencies, and holding team members accountable.  In addition, the project manager communicates progress, tracks budget vs actuals, and participates heavily in change management efforts.  Also, this role is responsible for maintaining the integration playbook.

 

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Leads cross-functional meetings and fosters teamwork; drives escalations, risk mitigation, resolution of issues
  • Ensures individual projects are effectively staged, sequenced, and executed to achieve the overall goal for the program.
  • Reviews program budget variance and scope change requests and drives the budget resolution process.
  • Responsible for the development and delivery of the following work products: project scope definition, project plan, status reporting, overall project communication, resource allocation and budget, executive-level presentations, change management deliverables.
  • Facilitates, and holds project team accountable for delivery 
  • Tracks and leads resolution of key issues and understands dependencies across workstreams and manages change control activities.
  • Harnesses internal and external relationships to drive organizational change, along with owning components of the change management plan.
  • Serves as conduit for cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing, and owns creation and maintenance of playbook, including training of new team members
  • Maintains an enterprise view of processes and platforms to solve complex issues through creativity and innovation.

Education and/or Experience Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of Project Management experience 

OR

  • 9 years of Project Management experience

Required Qualifications

  • A solid understanding of how organizations go through a change and the change process  
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Demonstrated thought leadership through problem solving skills with an understanding of process excellence.
  • Proven track record of managing costs, schedules and budget-to-actual financial forecasting and reporting
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a matrix organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across the company and departments at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to support the needs of the project team and internal stakeholders, while holding team members accountable for completion. Ability to identify and remove barriers to progress.
  • Successful history in decomposing business objectives into a series of associated projects and manage deliverables through project teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Agile certification or in-depth knowledge.
