Position Information

• Weekend Shift Hours are Friday to Monday 6AM-4:30PM, may need to flex hours to cover off-shifts
• This is an on-site position in Hodges, SC.
• Domestic relocation is available for this position.

Role Definition

The Manager- Maintenance monitors and improves the maintenance of the production unit by overseeing maintenance staff and equipment; ensures employees comply with safety procedures and standards. Collaborates with the Quality team.

What you will do

• Creating work plans for staff and contractors; reviewing the maintenance work performed by technicians.
• Tracking daily inventories, inspecting production units for wear and tear; ensuring replacements are made on time.
• Assigns maintenance budget responsibility, identifying cost-effective alternatives for current maintenance activities.
• Oversees the purchasing decisions and recommendations regarding equipment and tools, training the workers periodically on various maintenance processes and techniques.
• Leads a team and coaches and mentors the team to encourage, motivate, and guide individuals in learning and improving effectiveness.

What you have:

• Bachelor's degree
• Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Extensive knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
• Problem Solving: Expert knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
• Manufacturing Preventive Maintenance: Extensive knowledge of manufacturing equipment and its functioning; ability to conduct Preventive Maintenance at scheduled intervals to determine equipment's corrective actions and avoid untimely breakdowns.
• Total Productive Maintenance (TPM): Expert knowledge of total productive maintenance principles, methods, and processes; ability to maximize machinery effectiveness through active involvement of all supporting departments.
• Plant Facilities Management: Extensive knowledge of processes, methodologies and techniques used to manage plant facilities; ability to handle the full spectrum of activities for managing and maintaining physical facilities and infrastructure.
• Plant Operation and Maintenance: Expert knowledge of plant operation principles, methods, and processes; ability to handle day-to-day and strategic issues, operational requirements, and management of a manufacturing facility.
