Overview:

Responsible for design, planting and maintenance of all park landscaping and creative services in the park.  Additionally, this position manages the growth, maintenance and enhancement of the landscaping and grounds at Michigan's Adventure.  Effectively carries out all of the duties and responsibilities as assigned by the VP of Maintenance & Construction.

How You'll Make A Difference:

- Oversees the recruitment and training of both grounds and staff.  Manages the production schedule and job list and establishes priorities for work schedule.

- Oversees the landscaping projects for Michigan's Adventure.  Works with all necessary internal departments as a consultant from design to completion of projects.

- Prepares the annual operating expense and labor budgets for the Landscaping department.  Monitors expenses throughout the year, and takes corrective action if necessary.  Researches and procures all supplies needed for the department.

- Manages the inventory of materials and procurement.

- Adheres to and enforces all Cedar Fair and specific Park policies and procedures, including safety, attendance and EEO policies, and demonstrates commitment to customer service in all aspects of employment.

- Other duties may be assigned.

We're Looking For:

- High school diploma/GED

- Licensing to apply herbicides & fertilizers in a commercial setting.

- 4-6 years of experience

- Must have general knowledge of landscaping equipment maintenance.  Must also have experience installing and maintaining irrigation system.
