One of Washington’s largest and most outstanding hospitals is looking for a Manager of Laboratory Services to join their team and help lead laboratory operations for this healthcare system.

This hospital’s laboratory provides full medical services and offers a wide range of testing such as transfusion services, urinalysis, chemistry, microbiology, and more. This Lab is dedicated to high-quality services and patient-centered care.

The Manager of Laboratory Services will report to the Laboratory Director. This hospital is looking for a Laboratory Manager who can manage and operate the 24-hour laboratory and assist techs with bench work if needed. The Lab Manager will supervise lab staff and make sure industry standards and safety regulations are up to par. The Laboratory Manager will manage the proper disposal of test samples, be in charge of scheduling for lab staff, and will coordinate equipment use time for staff. This Lab Manager will also assist the laboratory inventory, purchasing of lab supplies, and preparing ordering lists for new materials or equipment. The Manager will not only manage the lab, but they will also have the honor of collaborating with tech staff and assisting if needed.
