CORE JOB SUMMARY
The Manager, Patient Experience Data Analytics manages the data driven initiatives associated with Patient Experience with the primary goal of creating a culture of data-driven decision-making. The Manager, Patient Experience Data Analytics provides decision support and drives system-wide outcomes to improve patient experience through analytics, and transparency of patient experience data. The incumbent oversees and performs data analysis and research using a variety of data mining and analysis methods to design, build, and implement predictive models; to identify trends and opportunities to facilitate and support overall patient experience strategy.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
Assesses, analyzes, and solves data issues to ensure data integrity. Collaborates with IT to obtain and provide data, and to resolve technical data- related problems. Supports site-based patient experience "deep-dives" including reviewing key themes and opportunities for improvement and driving ongoing patient experience initiatives. Tracks and trends regulatory publicly reported data, quality, CAHPS, and consumer analytics. Leads initiatives involving exploration and analysis of data across a variety of patient feedback data platforms. Compiles edits and interprets results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining. Enables data- driven decision making and strategic planning across all areas. Utilizes and creates algorithms and simulations to inform strategic planning. Establishes and maintains standards of best practice, benchmarking, indicators, and with correlating results. Collaborates with various stakeholders to develop insights and understand patient data, developing easily repeatable reports. Serves as a resource to leadership to assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating all patient experience activity. Establishes and continuously assesses the effectiveness of the internal controls within the unit and compliance with University policies and procedures. Ensures employees are trained on controls within the function and on University policy and procedures.
