The department of Facilities has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Manager, Real Estate to work at the UHealth Campus. The Manager, Real Estate, facilitates the leasing of real estate to meet the needs of UHealth departments and in the acquisition and disposition of real estate. Manages the real estate holdings of the UHealth. Responsible for the repository and maintenance of all UHealth real estate records, and for processing all necessary documentation for the receipt/sale of personal property.

  • Analyze purchase or disposition of real and personal property using reliable financial data and tools.
  • Prepare financial budgets, collect rents, and track financial performance for UHealth owned assets managed by the department.
  • Maintain documentation on all leases and managed assets on various operational and management software, (currently Workday, Rent Manager, REportfolio, Microsoft Excel).
  • Monitor monthly lease rental payments; add new leases and rental adjustment updates to Workday and payment tracking schedule.
  • Maintain repository of legal documents pertaining to UM owned and leased property.
  • Market real property, personal property and oversee activities related to the purchase, sale, lease, development, or disposition of property.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of property taxes, accessibility, value, and population growth in order to ensure efficient management of properties.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure optimum performance, safety, functionality, and compliance with government policies and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience

• Negotiation and leadership skills.
• Computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft program packages.
