As the Software Development Manager, you will have the opportunity to use your expertise in technology to manage teams of highly skilled software engineers. We are looking for an Agile Thinker - someone comfortable with ambiguity, who fosters incremental improvement, is transparent and learns from mistakes. Our ideal candidate is a team player, one who possesses collaboration skills and understands what it takes to build a high performing team. If you are the right person for the job, you will understand how to work with Agile coaches, Product Owners, Architects and your peers to deliver on work commitments by optimizing the value stream and examining constraints. You'll use your technical experience to coach and mentor your direct reports, helping them to grow in their careers while driving results for our business. You'll understand the value of celebrating success while being accountable for results - building on the already fantastic REPAY culture that's been established.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED

  • 3+ years in a technical management position leading software engineers
  • 5+ years in a software developer, application support or similar technical role
  • 3+ years of experience working with SCRUM or Kanban
  • Experience working with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure or GCP)
  • Experience working with C#.NET
  • Experience with REST API / Web API creation, consumption, integration using Service Oriented Architecture
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated effective communication across all levels of the organization and the ability to build strong business and team relationships
  • Experience coaching and mentoring engineers as part of a cross-functional team
  • Experience in the Financial industry (preferred)
  • Well-organized and able to structure, analyze, and answer business questions, balancing multiple requests and competing priorities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Candidate must be highly adaptable and experienced working in a dynamic work environment
  • Our technology stack: C#, .Net, ASP.Net, AWS, SQL, Jenkins, Terraform
