Providing direct supervision to a team of 1-3 individual contributors, the Manager, Store Performance FP&A serves as one of the organization's enterprise-level business analytics leaders, developing detailed financial analytics and reporting of our store performance, real estate portfolio and position. The manager gathers, organizes, interprets, and reports large amounts of business performance data, from which they make actionable recommendations to senior strategic leaders. The manager understands how to analyze quantitative and qualitative measures to complete enterprise-level forecasting and works closely with senior leaders from multiple functions. This position may interact with the direct leader regularly to receive guidance and feedback. Working independently, autonomy and decision making will be necessary but may require leader's advanced approval. This position will interact with executive leadership regularly.

Must have demonstrable expertise in:

Data Analytics, Financial Analysis, Advanced Excel

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as thought leader for the finance, store performance and real estate teams
  • Provide analytical and asset management support on a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate equity and debt investments including business case analyses for new leases, lease renewals, stay vs. relocate, lease vs. buy, new developments, dispositions, and large multi-year investment strategies
  • Develop & deliver thorough, executive-level presentations on aforementioned analysis
  • Assists in the development of business integration and financial models with a special focus on GME's store performance and real estate portfolio
  • Prepare high-level initial P&L analysis & summaries to support key financial assumptions; structure analysis to provide sensitivities of key assumptions
  • Analyze Data, report on key operational / financial metrics & provide recommendations to enhance financial and operational performance of the portfolio
  • Evaluate & benchmark GME's performance via analysis of operating expenses, space usage, transactional efficiency, overall real estate vision, etc.
  • Facilitate prompt turn-around to support various strategy and transaction requirements
  • Supports process improvement of model user tools
  • Support high level assessment of construction budgets / project cost schedules and communicate impact on P&L to relevant stakeholders
  • Understand complexities & report on LOB occupancy allocations
  • Develop positive working relationships with GME internal partners and external vendors to maintain an open environment for collaboration

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree with a regionally accredited program or 7+ years relevant work experience
  • Demonstrable people and project management experience
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrable expertise in designing forecasting models that present relevant, timely business projections and processes in a concise manner for use by executive management in decision making.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree in Finance and or Accounting is preferred
  • Masters of Business Administration is preferred
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and project management skills
  • VBA, SQL proficiency a plus
  • Experience in Alteryx, Oracle PBCS, and Adaptive Insights a plus
