Responsibilities

The Manager, TWMB is the leader of and primary spokesperson for the Talk With Me Baby (TWMB) initiative across Kennestone Hospital and affiliated Pediatric offices, Mother/Baby hospital & prenatal programs, and OBGYN offices. This role includes assuring the effectiveness and ongoing improvement of TWMB throughout these three engaged departments. The Manager, TWMB also serves to promote the role of Kennestone as a key clinical partner of the TWMB coalition through collaborative work with educational, governmental and community organizations, and professional presentations, publications, and grant writing. The position will have overall operational, management and quality responsibility for TWMB at Kennestone and will partner with the TWMB coalition to support future program expansion and implementations in other hospital/medical settings through the support of external funding. The Manager will work collaboratively with all persons directly and indirectly involved in the TWMB implementation at Grady and report to the VP Pediatric Ops and Svc Line • Ambulatory Admin. The Manager, TWMB will manage the activities of all members of the TWMB team based at Kennestone Hospital. In addition, the Manager will work closely with stakeholders from across the city/region to support and promote the TWMB initiative.
Qualifications

Required Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences field, business administration, non-profit management or related field. Required Minimum Licensure/Certification: N/A

Required Minimum Experience:

• Five to seven years project management experience - including program development, implementation, and results management.

• Five years of experience teaching, training, and giving professional presentations to all levels of personnel in an organization and across multi-discipline functions, and managing others.

• Experience working in healthcare field, preferably within the clinical setting - hospital and/or outpatient practice. Two to three years of grant writing experience.

• Program operations experience including budget development and management, results reporting, team meetings and management

• Experience with healthcare fundraising preferred. Experience with federal research grants desirable.

Required Minimum Skills: proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, MS teams and other virtual meeting platforms, and learning management systems.
